About Me
I’m Chenfeng Hao, a software engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS).
At AWS, I’ve contributed to several key services:
AWS Snow Family: Worked on ruggedized edge computing devices such as AWS Snowcone and Snowball, enabling secure large-scale data migration and processing in environments with limited or no network connectivity. These solutions support disaster recovery, remote data collection, and edge analytics.
AWS Transfer Family: Contributed to building secure, scalable managed file transfer services that integrate with Amazon S3 and Amazon EFS. Supported protocols include SFTP, FTPS, FTP, and AS2, helping customers migrate and automate file workflows seamlessly into the cloud.
IAM Data Plane (current role): Part of the core Identity and Access Management team, focusing on highly available and secure distributed systems that handle authentication and authorization requests across AWS services at a global scale.
